This Edge License and Expert Participation Agreement (this “Agreement”) is entered into by the aforementioned person (“you”) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group based at 2121 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20433, and constitutes a binding agreement between you and IFC under the EDGE Experts Program (the “Program”). You also agree that your name, profession, seniority (if applicable) and email address will be published on EDGE Experts Around the World. If you choose to include your LinkedIn profile URL as part of this agreement, you also agree that your photo will be displayed with a link to your LinkedIn profile. This Agreement (including the Incendiary Assets Directive, which is included therein and forms an integral part of this Agreement) constitutes a fully integrated agreement that supersedes all prior agreements, whether written, oral, electronic or other, between you and IFC regarding the subject matter of this Agreement, including the Program and Trademarks. In the event of any conflict between the terms of this agreement and the Brand Assets Directive, priority shall be given to the terms of this agreement. The terms of use of the EDGE website are not superseded by this Agreement. The ICSID Convention was founded on a multilateral agreement and entered into force on 14 October 1966. For the internal desire for greater integration of human rights into the World Bank`s thinking, the main consideration is the nature of the activities that the World Bank can carry out in accordance with its articles of agreement. The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) was the first institution in a group of financial institutions now known as the World Bank Group (WBG). After being created in Bretton Woods in 1944 by an agreement signed by the United Nations General Assembly in November 1947, the IBRD was governed by its statutes. Other WBG institutions have been developed in the same way and, from this point of view, the WBG has considered itself exempt from any direct legal responsibility beyond these articles, and not vis-à-vis the Charter of the United Nations from which it originates or other areas of international law. . .
